Our Organic Olive Oil
At Olea Prilis, we extract our Organic Olive Oil from olives that we select and pick, prevalently from our own trees that we lovingly cultivate and grow. This reliance on our own land and, and land of our associated olive producers that we know and respect, forms the basis of the transparency, traceability and trust we want to build with our clients. All our processes are open to your scrutiny and all our products are totally traceable.
The respect we have for our trees and olives means that the availability of our Organic Olive Oil is subject to the laws of nature: Olive trees are not regular in their yields, which can vary significantly from year to year, depending primarily on climate factors, which in turn affects the amount and quality of olives, as well as their yield in oil.

Tuscan Organic Olive Oil
Tuscan Olive Oil, a unique heritage of the territory and culture of this region of Italy, is protected since 1998 by the officially recognized denomination of Protected Geographical Indication. Tuscan IGP Olive Oil offers maximum certainty in terms of authenticity. The Consortium guarantees each bottle with its seal verifying the entire production chain, rigorously made in Tuscany, from the tree to the bottle. Toscano IGP Olive Oil is also subject to rigorous chemical and sensorial tests to check its compliance with the production protocol.
Organic
To be classified as organic, olive oil has to adhere to production specifications that start out in the field before finishing up in the bottle. Olea Prilis Olive Oil is certified as an organic product. Download our certification.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Extra virgin is the highest grade olive oil according to industry standards. However the standard set for this classification is truly mediocre, and of course our Olea Prilis organic olive oil fits in this category, but since the category has such low standards and we are not allowed to call our oil in any distinctive way from the broad definition, we simply prefer to define ourselves as producers of Organic Olive Oil. Our product is so much richer in antioxidants and anti-inflammatory molecules, of vitamin E and its acidity is at least one quarter of the standard set for EVOO, and so on in every parameter we can analyse, why should we promote or benchmark on such low quality standards? We are way better! We are not a multinational producer that survives thanks to lobbying politicians or the COI, we are a straight forward farming family and proud producer of quality Organic Olive Oil.
